Welcome!!

My name is Ellora Howell; I am studying level 3 animation course at South Essex College.

 

My hobbies include:

• Drawing

• Reading

• Photoshop

• Listening to music

 

I am studying this particular course because I like how it allows you to be as creative as you want when it comes to creating animations. I also find how animators can take simple pencil drawings or models, digitalise it and give that drawing movement and character awe inspiring.

There are a variety of animations that I admired, For example Aardman Animations, the stop motion animators of Wallace and Gromit, and how much time and care had gone into creating the film that has grown to be a well-known production. As a child I had found it fascinating how the characters worked and moved about, that fascination only grew when other films such as Disney’s Monsters inc. film was produced with the computer animated characters.

In the future I would like to work for an animation company, such as DreamWorks, helping to create films or comics, and work my way up to creating my own story and films further into my career.

Life before College:

Before the animation course I was working at a Cafe and doing a tattoo apprenticeship, I also went to the Czech republic for 4 months to learn the language.
